MINTP commands a significant attention at the Commonwealth trade fair. The fair runs from March 6 to 7 at the National Museum in Yaoundé.
The Ministry of Public Works is presently honoring its long-term prominent commitment to partner with the Commonwealth in a quest for conceivable opportunities for growth.
Looking at the brilliant performance last year, the Ministry of Public Works moved along with its hallmark to commemorate the commonwealth trade fair 2024.
The fair is taking place under the theme: "Infrastructure Development for one Resilient Common Future".
Speaking during the event, MINTP as one of the verious stakeholders, gave room for the Head of the Translation and the Promotion of Bilingualism and the liaison officer for Commonwealth, Dr. Besingi Charity Masumbe, to drill on the said theme, which she said, reflects on the collective actions to solve challenges that constitute an obstacle to authorizing individuals, encouraging growth and bringing transformative changes.
Worth to note, the Commonwealth trade fair is an opportunity for the various stakeholders, institutions and ministries, to showcase their achievements and prospects given achieving one or several of Commonwealth goals of development, democracy, and peace in Cameroon.
The Sub Director of Studies of Roads and Highway Construction, Nde Victor Chi, showcased road infrastructure projects achieved over the year 2023 and ongoing projects, he highlighted the Head of States project and the road network in Cameroon.
As if that was not enough, the National Advanced School of Public Works showcased their architectural know-how that pulled many a crowd especially young Cameroonians who discovered another dimension of art in public works. The crowd was amazed by the brilliant exhibition of MINTP personnel and the students.
